Bike Safety Notice
Whilst we are pleased that some of our students choose to cycle to school each day, as it
is a mode of transport that has multiple benefits, we have become aware of a small number
of students who have not been riding responsibly. If your child cycles to school, please take
this opportunity to discuss the importance of safe and responsibly behaviour when
travelling to and from school so that our students do not put themselves and others at risk
of harm.
Excellent GCSE Results
Principal Matthew Snelson remarked, "From working with and helping to guide the class of 2019,
I am delighted that the focus, hard work and dedication the students put into these exams has resulted in the phenomenal success they have achieved. Read more for detailed results.
A and P to Improve Me
The importance of regular, punctual attendance cannot be overstated. There is a very strong
link between attendance and achievement; students who attend regularly and punctually
put themselves at a strong advantage, giving themselves the best possible chance of success.
A and P to Improve Me is a reminder of that.

Road Safety Incident - 28.11.19
We have received a report from a member of the public regarding unsafe behaviour of a small group of our students along the A556 near the Davenham roundabout.
We routinely teach our students the necessity for responsible and safe behaviour both in school and within the community, however, please take this opportunity as parents/carers to further emphasise the importance of your child's personal safety when travelling to and from school.
Thank you for your support.
Road Safety Warning
Students have been reminded that they must use the pedestrian crossings when travelling
to and from school and that they must take responsibility for their personal safety at all
times. Please ensure that this is reinforced at home.
Please click here to view the 'Recommended walking and cycling route from
Davenham and Moulton to the County High School Leftwich'.
Online Safety
The internet and devices that connect to it are powerful learning tools. Our students need to
learn to work independently in order to develop their digital skills. However, they also need to
learn how to stay safe in the digital world.
